Nazia Sharfuddin

Dr. Nazia Sharfuddin is a general internist and Physician Lead of Quality Improvement at Trillium Health Partners. In addition, she serves as the Undergraduate Medicine Education Lead at Credit Valley Hospital and Chair of the Quality Improvement Experiential Student Training (QuEST) Program. She is currently pursuing Master’s in Healthcare Quality & Safety at Harvard Medical School. She graduated from Harvard Medical School’s postgraduate yearlong certification program in Safety, Quality, Informatics and Leadership. Dr. Sharfuddin completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Calgary and General Internal Medicine sub-specialty residency at the University of Alberta, where she was Chief Resident. Dr. Sharfuddin is passionate about addressing and bridging disparities healthcare through improvement science. Her leadership and research interests include quality improvement, health equity, and medical education. ​
