Faculty Development

The Office of Faculty Development offers a range of resources to support faculty in preparing for their teaching roles within the MD Program at the University of Toronto, including:

  • Support for tutors or seminar leaders in the Foundations Curriculum (first year and second year)
  • Support for faculty teaching in hospital and community settings within the Clerkship curriculum (third year and fourth year)
  • Additional opportunities for medical educators, including individual consultation

Advancing Faculty Development Across the Medical Education Continuum

The Office of Faculty Development (OFD) has supported the MD Program since 2015. This year, OFD will be expanding to support an integrated Faculty Development program across the entire medical education continuum including MD Program, Integrated Physician Scientist Training Programs (MD/PhD), Postgraduate Medical Education, Physician Assistants Program, and Continuing Professional Development.
