The Temerty Chair in Learner Assessment and Program Evaluation will foster education scholarship that advances the theory and practice of learner assessment and program evaluation related issues in medical education while positioning the Temerty Faculty of Medicine as an international leader in medical education research, scholarship and innovation.

Temerty Chair in Learner Wellness

Applications are invited for the position of Temerty Chair in Learner Wellness.

The well-being of medical education learners is a crucial element facilitating an optimal learning experience and, as learners transition to the clinical learning environment, patient care. The Temerty Chair in Learner Wellness will foster the development and implementation of a wellness strategy for learners in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine’s undergraduate and postgraduate medical education programs.

Applications are invited for the position of MD-PGME Social Justice, Anti-Oppression and Advocacy Theme Lead.

The MD-PGME Social Justice, Anti-Oppression and Advocacy Theme Lead position relates to health and advocacy education from an anti-oppressive lens. While the MD Program and Postgraduate Medical Education Programs continue to work towards strengthening the Temerty Faculty’s inclusive learning environment and equitable admissions, we need to ensure that the medical education curriculum prepares future physicians who are committed to the principles and practices of social justice, equity, anti-oppression, and advocacy. The position will be informed by, but not limited to, the CanMEDS Health Advocate Role.

Director, Medical Student Research Scholars Program

Applications are invited for the position of Director, Medical Student Research Scholars Program.

The Director, Medical Student Research Scholars Program is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of the Comprehensive Research Experience for Medical Students (CREMS) programs in the MD Program, and for the Graduate Diploma in Health Research (GDipHR) offered in the School of Graduate studies by the Institute of Medical Science (IMS) in collaboration with CREMS.
