Initiating an Agreement with the University of Toronto, MD Program

Agreements with home schools are required of all visiting elective students, both domestic and international.

In order to initiate an agreements process, complete the form below; this process can take up to four months.

Deadline: July 1
International Placements: The following January-June
Domestic Placements: Visit AFMC for additional information

IMPORTANT: All agreements for all placements must be secured and in place by July 1, of the previous year. No exceptions will be made.

Note: From time to time, as advised by our legal team, agreements change. Should there be a delay in your home school returning a signed agreement, and a new agreement is released, your home school will be required to sign the newest agreement.

For international applications:

  • Our program for international visiting electives runs from January-June, only.

  • Your school must have a completed agreement signed in order for you to be permitted to participate in our lottery.

  • Only students who have been randomly selected in our lottery are eligible to apply to our program - irrespective of whether or not their home school has signed our agreement.
