Yen Du
Yen brings more than 20 years of experience in higher education administration, with expertise in strategic planning, curriculum and program management, and quality assurance. She has a strong track record of developing and implementing operational strategies, supporting program review processes, and leading large, multidisciplinary teams. Her work is grounded in a commitment to enhancing the learner and faculty experience through innovation, continuous improvement, and collaborative leadership.
Prior to her current role, Yen served as Manager, Curriculum for the MD Program, providing leadership for a team responsible for the delivery and governance of undergraduate medical education. She oversaw curriculum planning and renewal, organizational design, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with program goals and institutional standards. Earlier in her career at the University of Toronto Mississauga, she held a range of leadership roles in academic programs and quality assurance, supporting program development, institutional reviews, and strategic initiatives across the campus.
Yen is actively engaged in advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion, mentorship, and professional development initiatives. She contributes to faculty governance and mentorship programs and participates in institutional working groups and communities of practice that support innovation in teaching, learning, and organizational effectiveness.
