Kien Dang

Dr. Kien Dang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and practices Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at St. Michael’s Hospital. He completed his undergraduate medical degree and postgraduate Psychiatry training at the University of Toronto. Dr. Dang is also the Associate Director for Undergraduate Education in the Department of Psychiatry, and Assessment Lead for the Psychiatry Clerkship Course. He has been heavily involved in teaching and education, most recently providing faculty development in Blueprinting Assessments, and Constructing Key Feature Questions. In the past, he served as Chair of the Department of Psychiatry Recruitment Committee and as faculty advisor for the Clerkship Personality Disorders Course. He has also Chaired the Association for Academic Psychiatry Conference Educational Consultants Program and is currently the Associate Program Chair. He has been active in undergraduate and postgraduate supervision and teaching, and has been awarded the Abraham Miller Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Education as well as an Association for Academic Psychiatry Junior Faculty Award.
