Hunain Kochra

Hunain has been a Business & Data Analyst with UTSC Arts & Science Co-op since 2018. Prior to joining UTSC, Hunain worked for Higher Colleges of Technology in the UAE in data-related roles for 8 years supporting departments such as the Registrar’s Office, Financial Services, and Institutional Research with their data needs. He holds a Diploma in Computer Engineering from India and a Certificate in Data Science from U of T’s Continuing School of Studies. During his time at Arts & Science Co-op, Hunain and his team have worked strategically with Leadership on several projects to co-create inclusive solutions that help democratize data across all stakeholders and support evidence-based decision-making at the department in support of student success. As a working group member of UTSC’s Strategic Direction 5.2 group tasked with fostering a culture of service excellence and continuous process improvement among Faculty and Staff, Hunain worked with the team to analyze & visualize financial data, enrollment data, and data from an environmental scan of how other Universities are approaching IT governance.
