Evan Tannenbaum

Dr. Evan Tannenbaum is a clinician educator and assistant professor in the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Mount Sinai Hospital. He obtained his MD degree at the University of Toronto in 2014. During his obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Toronto, he completed a Master of Science in Health Sciences Education at McMaster University and a research fellowship at the Wilson Centre through the Clinician Investigator Program. His research focuses on a variety of topics in medical education, including assessment and communication. He has a particular interest in technology-enhanced assessment using video capture. In his teaching role, he uses simulation to help obstetrics trainees learn to collaborate with other health professionals in high-stakes environments, such as obstetrical emergencies and trauma.
