Christopher Gilchrist

Dr. Chris Gilchrist is a palliative care physician with the Dorothy Ley Hospice Community Physicians and a part-time academic family physician with the Trillium-Summerville Family Medicine Teaching Unit. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto

Dr. Gilchrist graduated from the University of Toronto in 2012 and subsequently completed his family medicine residency at Trillium Health Partners in 2014. He is currently pursuing his Master of Education through the University of Ottawa. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Gilchrist is heavily involved in undergraduate medical education where he serves as the Director for the Introduction to Medicine course and as the Associate Director of Clinical Skills within the MD Program at U of T. His research interests focus on to the applications of technology and AI-tools to better facilitate learning.
