Christopher Gilchrist

Dr. Christopher Gilchrist is a palliative care physician with the Dorothy Ley Hospice Community Physicians and an academic family physician with the Trillium-Summerville Family Medicine Teaching Unit. He is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Family and Community Medicine. 

Dr. Gilchrist graduated from the University of Toronto Temerty Faculty of Medicine in 2012 and subsequently completed his family medicine residency at Trillium Health Partners in 2014. He is currently perusing his Masters of Education. Within the Temerty Faculty of Medicine and Trillium-Summerville Family Medicine Teaching Unit, Dr. Gilchrist has previously taken on a number of leadership roles including Clinic Skills Site Lead, Clinical Skills Tutor and Academic Half Day Coordinator. He works to build palliative care supports within primary care by developing early palliative care resources and creating a home visiting palliative care program for family medicine residents. ​
