Dr. Allan Vescan is a Royal College Board-Certified Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgeon, with subspecialties in minimally invasive skull base surgery and rhinology at Sinai Health System and University Health Network . He also holds the position of Director of Undergraduate Medical Education within the Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto.

He received his Medical Doctorate (MD) in 2001 from the University of Western Ontario, followed by the completion of his Otolaryngology residency program in 2006 from the University of Toronto. He received his Oncologic Skull Base Fellowship from the University of Pittsburgh in 2007. He also holds a Master of Science degree from the Institute of Medical Science, University of Toronto with a focus on surgical education and simulation. 

Research interests include: Clinical outcomes in Skull Base Surgery & Rhinology, Medical Education and Simulation.
