This significant occasion marks the opening of our dedicated Gathering Place for Indigenous learners, faculty, staff and community members from across organizations. As our programs and governance evolve, it is our collaborative and reciprocal vision that Elders, Knowledge Keepers, educators and community supports are available to engage ceremonial practices, provide access to traditional medicines and facilitate educational and community-centred activities such as healing, counselling sessions, workshops, and symposiums; and host learner and faculty committee work.
